Kendrick Lamar goes back-to-back and unexpectedly releases his second Drake diss file.
On Friday morning (Might 3), the Compton rapper posted the file on his Instagram deal with, simply days after releasing his Drake diss file, “Euphoria“. Titled, “6:16 In LA” which he left within the caption of the submit, performs off Drake’s timestamped music sequence, finds Ok.Dot concentrating on Drizzy.
“Yeah, somebody’s lying, I could see the vibes on Ak’ / Even he looking compromised, let’s peel the layers back,” he raps in reference to DJ Akademiks.
Kendrick continues, “Are you finally ready to play have-you-ever? / Let’s see / Have you ever thought that OVO was working for me? / Fake bully, I hate bullies, you must be a terrible person / Everyone in your team is whispering that you deserve it / Can’t “Toosie Slide” out of this one, it’s simply gon’ resurface / Each canine gotta have his day, now reside in your objective / It was enjoyable ’til you begin to put cash up within the streets / Then misplaced cash, ’trigger they got here again with the no receipts.”
“6:16 In LA” clocked in simply three days following his earlier “Euphoria“. Both are in response to Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle” and “Push Ups” counter from Kendrick’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That”.
