Earlier today, Lewis was signed up with by Atlanta’s beauty baddies and industry tastemakers to evaluate her The Black Beauty Effect docuseries.
Taking location at The Garden Room, Lewis and EP/Emmy candidate CJ Faison detailed the three-part unique that catches the present development, transformation, and interruption happening within the beauty industry.

During the screening of the movie, Lewis spoke on the significance of showcasing not simply Black ladies’s beauty, however all the interesting complexities that feature us.
“I tend to produce stories or have stories in my head that center Black ladies, that center the important things that we truly appreciate,” stated Lewis. “The things that make us truly interesting and the important things that reveal the world how unique we are and how unique our neighborhood is. That’s my preferred feature of being a Black female.
“To inform the story that focuses Black ladies produced with a group of Black individuals and for a Black female, Keesha Boyd, to see it and promote us—it was a dream become a reality.”
