Skepta takes New York within the video to his new single, “Gas Me Up (Diligent)”
Directed by Joseph Adenuga and Dwight Okechukwu, the video facilities the British rapper flexing from inside his Maybach and varied spots in The Large Apple.
“We don’t get angry, we don’t get even / We don’t talk about beef, by the way, did I mention I just turned vegan?,” he begins on the opening verse. “I need the pagans breathing so they can see my new Top Boy season / I need the pagans alive so they can now see that it’s still my time.”
“Gas Me Up (Diligent)” is Skepta’s first music since November’s 48 Hours, a joint 5-track EP with producer Ryder.
