The rapper broke down his ideas concerning the horrific incident in an interview with GQ — saying, “That moment for families, for the city, you know, it was devastating.”

He was requested if the tracks he made within the studio after the horrors in Houston, Texas mirrored his ideas concerning the tragic occasion … he seems to suppose so, saying his music is all the time about dialing in on issues that occur in his life.
TS says getting again into music after Astroworld was “therapeutic” — including he was “in a position to channel a number of the power into manufacturing and sounds and ending it.”
As you recognize, Travis dropped his album, Utopia, in July, marking the primary album he launched since his Astroworld tour … and one of many tracks on it — “My Eyes” — dives deep into his perspective of the horrific occasion.
