Tim Allen Visits Jay Leno In Hospital, Says Face Will Be OK Despite Burns

Tim Allen simply got done checking out Jay Leno in the hospital … and he says his buddy’s face isn’t going to be damaged by extreme burns suffered in an automobile fire.

Tim saw Jay at the Grossman Burn Center in West Hills, CA Thursday and spoke with the paparazzi on his escape … informing photogs Jay is feeling much better after suffering deep burns to his face, hands and chest.

Jay appears to be in great spirits in the hospital, despite going through treatment in a hyperbaric chamber for his burns … Tim says Jay enjoyed and they broke some jokes. Hey, laughter is the very best medication, right?

TMZ broke the story … Jay got burned bad over the weekend when an automobile erupted into flames while he was dealing with repairing a clogged up fuel line on his 1907 White Steam Car in his Burbank garage.

Jay’s not avoiding automobiles despite the event … Tim says he brought JL some vehicle publications to put over throughout his healing.
