The second an enormous sinkhole devoured up a part of an Illinois soccer park has been caught on surveillance digital camera — and it is jaw-dropping, to say the least.
Examine this out — a light-weight pole was dramatically sucked into the bottom at Gordon Moore Park Wednesday … forsaking a gaping gap no less than 100 toes large and 50 toes deep.
The scene was straight out of a catastrophe film … with plumes of smoke swirling into the sky as the bottom crumbled beneath.
Different mind-blowing drone footage captures a birds-eye view of the aftermath … actually showcasing the colossal measurement of the sinkhole.
The sinkhole was credited to an underground mine collapse — and Alton Parks and Recreation Director Michael Haynes known as the scenario an anomaly, noting these mines have been there for many years with out problem.
All scheduled park occasions have been canceled whereas the sinkhole incident is investigated.
