Shawne Merriman Won’t Rule Out Taking MMA Fight, Any WWE Wrestlers Wanna Scrap?!

Shawne Merriman‘s reviving Lights Out Xtreme Fighting — after more than a year of being inactive — and the previous NFL star and promo creator informs us won’t dismiss taking a fight!

“I’m not opposed to [fighting],” the previous Pro Bowler informed Babcock and Mojo on the “TMZ Sports” television program (airs nighttime on FS1), stating “I would fight the right former athlete, another guy in the WWE, something that people would pay to see in Lights Out.”

The 38-year-old previous NFL star continued … “They got my Instagram. They got my number. If anybody really thinking about it and it’s a good fight and people wanna see it, come on and step in Lights Out. I got no problem!”

Of course, Shawne would not be the very first previous football gamer to shift to combating. Former NFL star Greg Hardy, who had no fight sports background, fought in the UFC.

Matt Mitrione, previous Giants, 49ers and Vikings protective lineman, was a UFC and Bellator star. Matt beat heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko, among a lot of other leading fighters. Not to point out Brock Lesnar … and the list continues.

With Lights Out, I think we have an opportunity to come in here and give these fighters an opportunity to go and take care of their families, be legends in the sport, be champions in the sport,” Merriman states.
