It appears like Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s love will rule over The Crown‘s upcoming sixth and final season.
The Netflix program’s stars Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy, who play younger versions of the Prince and Princess of Wales, were spotted shooting scenes near the University of St Andrews in Scotland on March 10. In images from the set, Ed—accompanied by an another star who seemed playing William’s bodyguard—jogged towards Meg on a waterside path. After crossing courses, he then reversed to get another look at his co-star.
As William and Kate’s love story goes, the royal couple fell in love as trainees at the seaside college throughout the early aughts. It’s uncertain precisely how they initially satisfied, though it’s been commonly reported that William paid attention to his fiancée at a 2002 charity style reveal—where Kate designed a transparent number by designer Charlotte Todd coupled with a black underclothing set.
“She was in a very daring dress, in a sheer, stocking-like dress,” their college good friend Ben Duncan remembered in a 2011 interview with E! News. “He was sitting front row and his eyes were like stalks.”
