In the video, acquired by TMZ Sports, the Hamden coaches are plainly attempting to distance themselves from the Highlands Ranch staffers … with one male discussing they were informed by the “higher ups” to prevent any interaction.
Sources inform us the factor behind the tense interaction was because of coaches and fans of Highlands Ranch apparently shouting racially charged words at Hamden, a group that includes primarily Black gamers, throughout the video game.
In the video, a Highlands Ranch coach continues to attempt to speak with grownups with Hamden … however they consistently state they aren’t thinking about talking, as they “have more s*** to lose.”
Eventually, Hamden leaves the location … which’s when a male — who we’re informed is associated with the Highlands Ranch group — tossed out the racial slurs … describing them as “f***ing n*****s.”
Pop Warner launched a declaration to TMZ Sports … stating, “The disturbing behavior shown in the video is inconsistent with our code of conduct and the expectations we have of our adult volunteers.”
The org. states it will carry out an investigative hearing on the matter next week … and if the individual in the video is, in reality, associated with a PW group, they will deal with discipline — consisting of suspension.
