Multiple police officers reportedly went into Joe Mixon‘s Cincinnati-location home on Monday night … hours after they introduced an investigation into an alleged shooting in the NFL star’s community.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office informed FOX 19 its officers went out to the 7900 block of Ayers Road — where Mixon resides in Ohio — at around 8:30 p.m. after getting a call of gunshots being fired.
A juvenile, according to the report, had actually been hurt and transferred to the medical facility.
On-the-scene press reporter Chancelor Winn stated deputies cordoned off Mixon’s home with care tape after showing up — and, at one point, knocked on his door while stating, “Sheriff’s Department. Come out.”

Eventually, per Winn, they got entry into the Bengals running back’s home at around 1:30 a.m. They left approximately 2 hours later on. No arrests were made.
It’s uncertain if Mixon had any participation in the investigation — however WLWT News 5 reports his sis stated the 26-year-old “was not involved in the shooting Monday night that injured a teenager.”
