Patriots OT Trent Brown Defends Mac Jones, ‘I Love Him’

New England Patriots star, Trent Brown is going from safeguarding Mac Jones on the field, to doing the exact same off of it — informing TMZ Sports the quarterback’s haters require to go kick rocks.

The Pats’ left take on didn’t mince words while out at LAX on Monday — stating he’s a big fan of Mac … and does not get the criticism that surrounded the QB for the majority of this year.

Brown stated he directly “loves” the person — and anything Mac’s critics state enters one ear and out the other for him.

“They don’t really matter,” Brown stated of the Jones haters. “Really, nobody outside of that building matters.”

“It’s all about who’s in that locker room and who comes to work for us every day. That’s it.”

Jones dealt with a lots of heat this year — he tossed 11 interceptions in 14 video games and had simply 14 passing TDs — leading lots of to require backup Bailey Zappe to begin over him.

Clearly, however, Brown’s got Mac’s back … and likes him at QB1.

As for how things will go next year and the following years after this season’s 8-9 frustration … Brown assured things would reverse quickly.

“I don’t believe we’ll be down too long,” he stated.
