Navy football gamers are going to be looking gooooooooood for their game versus Army this year — the school simply exposed it’ll be using NASA-themed uniforms for the traditional competition … and they’re awesome!!
The helmets, jerseys, cleats and gloves will include nods to astronauts — as the school wants to admire the 54 Naval Academy graduates who went on to end up being space explorers.
One side of the gamers’ headgear will have a painting of Navy alum Bruce McCandless II, who took the very first untethered spacewalk back in 1985. The opposite will have NASA’s logo design on it with a moon in the background.
The jerseys, on the other hand, will be white and red … with, according to the school, markings that imitate the NASA spacewalk fit.
Players’ shoes will be all white, obviously, to signify astronaut moon boots.

The group got its very first take a look at the sets inside a conference room on Monday — and, not remarkably, the people liked what they saw.
“One small step for man…One giant leap for Navy Football,” the group tweeted after revealing the unis.
Kickoff for the huge game is slated for Dec. 10 game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia … and if the old expression “look good, feel good, play good” holds up — beware, Army!
