The folks at ComicConnect.com started the bidding at $1 … so the last list price reveals there was a lots of interest in the card.
The confidential purchaser informed the auction home the Zuckerberg card would sign up with a collection currently including novice cards for MLB legends Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle, plus an Action Comics #1 … summarizing Zuck as “the Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Superman of social media rolled up into one.”
The signed card — which is from 1992 — was likewise offered as an NFT, which chose $1,345.
Mark played Little League in Westchester County, NY … where the trading cards were a novelty used to households.
