He sees the words and actions of politicians playing a huge part in the hate criminal offenses versus gay individuals in the previous couple of years … and while he’s seen development being made, he includes there’s still a lot to do to keep the LGBTQ+ neighborhood more secure.
A man was captured on video camera chucking a brick into the window of a gay bar in New York City … and it’s apparently been the fourth attack on the area in a week.
The clip shows the unidentified man approaching VERS situated in Hell’s Kitchen Saturday night — after tossing the brick at the window, he runs as individuals close by rapidly turn their attention to the structure.
Oddly enough, the person appears to come back to the scene … and it appears like he’s attempting to mix in — he even points down the street, apparently directing individuals towards the assaulter.
This attack was the fourth in the previous week … according to owner David DeParolesa, who informed the New York Post unbreakable glass windows were set up when he purchased the location back in July — expecting anti-gay attacks.
He calls the string of attacks “unnerving,” seeing it as “yet another manifestation of hate against our community.”
The video appears to have actually been shot the specific very same night as a shooter opened fire at Club Q, a gay bar in Colorado Springs … as we reported, 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich was apprehended — and apparently 5 victims have actually passed away, with another 25 hurt.

Aldrich had an uncomfortable rap sheet, BTW — getting detained back in June 2021 after apparently making a bomb threat versus his mom.
