Leslie Jordan will be beautifying the silver screen one last time … since the last movie he ever starred in is on its method to being finished.
Writer and director Tracy Pellegrino informs TMZ … “Strangers in a Strange Land,” Leslie’s last listed movie credit in post-production, is a little independent movie comprised of numerous shorts that concentrates on immigrants around the globe entering amusing circumstances due to their confusion and language barriers — and it’s the L.A. part of the movie where Leslie shines.
Leslie plays a southerner in Los Angeles who attempts to assist offer instructions to a Russian guy at a bus stop … somebody he discovers VERY appealing.
The humor is right up Leslie’s street, which tracks — we’re informed Tracy and her other half, Mark, composed the part with him in mind … absolutely uninformed if Leslie would even sign on for the task. Tracy understood Leslie for more than 20 years.
Tracy states the motion picture was recorded over an extended period of time — it was shot in Paris, Cannes, Rome, Düsseldorf, London, Brooklyn and L.A. She states Leslie’s part was shot around 2017. There is no release date yet for the movie.
As we reported, sources near to the late star informed us Leslie was driving to the set of “Call Me Kat” Monday early morning when he suffered some sort of medical emergency situation, crashing into the side of a structure. He was 67.
