Kandi Burruss Reopens Blaze After Nephew Survives Shooting … Inside Her Restaurant

Blaze Seafood & Steak resumed on Friday, Media Get validated, simply one day after authorities state that an unhappy worker shot Kandi Burruss’ nephew, Chef Melvin Jones, throughout a run-in at the restaurant on Wednesday.

According to South Fulton authorities, the 2 staff members were associated with a battle when one worker shot Chef Melvin in the arm.

The suspect got away the scene and is still at big. Authorities are on a citywide manhunt looking for the supposed shooter.

Chef Melvin, fortunately, made it through the shooting. He was required to a regional medical facility where he was dealt with and launched. Melvin shared images of his bullet injury on Instagram.

This is the 2nd shooting at a restaurant owned by Kandi Burruss and her partner, Todd Tucker.

In 2020, 3 individuals were shot and injured inside Kandi’s Old woman Gang Southern Food in East Point.

Kandi required to Instagram on Wednesday to notify her fans that the restaurant was closed Thursday “for personnel training” and would resume Friday. She didn’t point out the shooting.

“Blaze will be closed today for a system upgrade and personnel training. We excuse any hassle and value your understanding. We will resume Friday, September 9th at 1 PM.”
