Judd Apatow Host DGA Awards and Skewers Tom Cruise, Austin Butler, Daughter Maude

Judd Apatow hilariously mocked the DGA Awards Saturday evening and the actors who had been a part of it … it is actually humorous!

Apatow hosted the seventy fifth awards ceremony, however it wasn’t broadcast anyplace — no video in any respect.  He groused the rattling present wasn’t even on the radio …“This present is being live-streamed to the again of this room. This present is so irrelevant, it’s surprising Elon Musk hasn’t purchased it but.”

Apatow lasered in on Austin Butler, who had mentioned he had trouble shaking the Elvis twang.  Judd warned the world … Austin’s subsequent function might be the lead in “The Jerry Lewis Story.”

And then there was Tom Cruise, who famously does his personal stunts despite the fact that he is north of 60. Judd mentioned, “Tell Tom that Thelma and Louise didn’t precisely soar over the cliff themselves. Tom, have you ever heard of CGI?”

But he wasn’t performed, suggesting Tom’s stunts have the markings of a Scientology advert.

And then there’s this … “I imagine our pal Aubrey Plaza is right here. I can’t imagine you have got a worse seat than Fkboy Island. You gotta speak to your publicist.”

Judd then referenced his well-known daughter … “Sam Levinson is right here tonight. He’s the writer-director-creator of Euphoria. My daughter Maude is on that present. It’s very profitable. My solely frustration, I form of need her to have a child. She mentioned, ‘dad, I play a 16-year-old on a highschool TV present.’ I’ve seen the present. I don’t assume it might be that bizarre to have a bit crack child on that present. Your child can play the crack child, a two-salary scenario on that present.”
