Joaquin Phoenix Runs Through Streets of DTLA During ‘Joker 2’ Shoot

Joaquin Phoenix is back going through the streets of Gotham as the Clown Prince himself — however in spite of the action being recorded on the ground … some are scoffing from above.

Check out this video footage, acquired by TMZ, where the star can be seen on the set of ‘Joker 2,’ which was shooting on area Saturday in DTLA … and where JP was doing a couple of takes where he’s being chased after by some bad people, who take place to be worn Joker equipment.

It’s quite intriguing … you see Joaquin here (as Arthur Fleck) in a company match, sans makeup, and a couple of hooligans pursuing him as they weave in and out of traffic. One of the men on his tail is in fact worn his ‘Joker’ attire from the very first motion picture.

There’s some great action caught on electronic camera here, however the photog does not appear to be that huge a fan of Joaquin or ‘Joker’ in basic … ’cause he yaps of crap throughout.

At one point, you can see director Todd Phillips strolling through the scene once again with Joaquin (who’s in routine clothing, masked up) — and there, too, the electronic camera guy has snarky commentary to provide. It does not look like Todd and co. cared that individuals were enjoying … they were hectic attempting to get the shots, and it appears like they they were preoccupied.

Couple takeaways … it appears like the follow up to the 2019 hit is in fact going to occur, in part, outdoors of an asylum — which is where we last saw Joaquin’s Joker. Also, no indication of Lady Gaga anywhere on Saturday’s set, however she’s in this also (as Harley Quinn).
