Get the Kleenex prepared … ’cause the Arizona Cardinals shocked retiring star J.J. Watt with a farewell video recently — and his response to the video was so psychological, it’ll strike ya right in the feels.
AZ protective organizer Vance Joseph sprung the clip on Watt throughout a group conference right before the NFL legend’s last video game versus San Francisco … and nearly right away after it started playing, Watt honestly sobbed into his hands.
The video included a grip of messages from Watt’s household, pals and previous NFL competitors — and J.J., who revealed on Dec. 27 he’d be done with football after this season, might barely keep his eyes open for it.

The montage began with J.J.’s sibling, T.J. Watt, stating, “Brother, J.J., I just want to say congratulations on retirement.”
“You ending up in the NFL and you being Defensive Player of the Year, and you having all the success that you had, showed me that it’s possible.”
Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Dak Prescott and Tom Brady likewise praised J.J. on whatever he’s achieved in the NFL … and the effect he’s had on their professions.
“Man, you were a pain in my ass for a long time,” Brady stated. “It was an honor to share the field with you.”

J.J.’s other sibling, Derek Watt, likewise shared how glad he was to witness J.J.’s profession.
J.J.’s moms and dads, John and Connie, and his other half, Kealia Watt (who was holding the couple’s newborn boy Koa), appeared on-screen too … with all revealing their thankfulness towards the 33-year-old protective end.
“It has been such an honor to watch you work your ass off these past years and do whatever you needed to do to be the best,” Kealia stated. “You’ve been so generous and kind and loving to everybody around you, and you never forgot who you are.”
“I know Koa will be so proud to be your son.”
