Cole took a web page outta Jay-Z‘s notorious Nas diss monitor right here … Kendrick’s albums “good kid, m.A.A.d city” and “DAMN” got their due credit score, however JC writes off ‘TPAB’ off as overrated trash that acquired the eye of out of doors media.
Cole coldly raps … “[Kendrick] still doin’ shows, but fell off like The Simpsons/Your first s*** was classic, your last s*** was tragic/Your second s*** put n****s to sleep, but they gassed it/Your third s*** was massive and that was your prime I was trailin’ right behind and I just now hit mine.”
Terrace Martin, the first producer for ‘TPAB’ and Kendrick’s ex-TDE exec President Punch all took exception to the bars, as did a number of different Cali artists … Jason Martin and El Prez. There’s been a whole lot of chatter about Cole’s tackle ‘Butterfly’ … some agree with him, others say he is useless unsuitable.
Cole actually acquired half the TL brazenly slandering TPAB in unison. I’ve waited for this second for YEARS.

Additionally … ‘Joe Budden Podcast’ cohost Formally Ice is stirring the pot as effectively by welcoming the anarchy. On its face, Cole could have triggered a rap Civil Battle. No official phrase from Drake but.
We’re certain Kendrick will reply too, FWIW.
