A man running for a seat on a regional Indiana school board may simply be out — recommending some Nazis were great men … and comparing them to misconstrued anti-vaxxers these days.
Dr. Matt Keefer, who’s in the hunt for a Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees post, made the inflammatory discuss Facebook today while obviously going back and forth with somebody about Nazis … just to then protect stated Nazis.
He composed, “All Nazis weren’t ‘bad,’ as you specify. They did horrible things. They were in a group frenzy in both cases you site (sic). Who is to say if we were both there in the same place and same time, that we wouldn’t have done the same thing.”
Keefer went on to state Nazis were victims of “presentism” — evaluating old acts by today’s requirements — and stated possibly one day … we’d recall at Covid in a different way, particularly when it pertains to folks who tossed such a fit about it throughout the pandemic.
He surfaces by stating … “History is written by the victors. No other candidate will talk about the issues like I will.” Later, after a lots of reaction, Keefer doubled down in his belief that not all Nazis were bad — however in the very same breath, rejected being a Nazi sympathizer.
Sounds quite Kanye-ish — making one marvel if the man’s pushed anti-Semites.
