Former NFL MVP Matt Ryan Officially Announces Retirement After 15 Seasons

Matty Ice is placing his profession on ice for good — former NFL MVP Matt Ryan is formally retiring from skilled soccer after 15 seasons.

The Atlanta Falcons nice — who performed all however one season with the group — launched a heartfelt goodbye to the sport on Monday … saying it was time to hold up the helmet.

“Today, 16 years after being drafted, my childhood dream has officially come to an end,” Ryan mentioned.

“I’m honored to retire as a Falcon.”

Ryan — the third general choose in 2008 — performed his greatest season in 2016 … main the league in passer score and being named first-team All-Professional.

He threw for almost 63,000 yards throughout his time beneath heart … and had 381 touchdowns and simply 183 interceptions.
