Blaise Taylor has been charged with two counts of first-degree homicide for the deaths of his girlfriend and her five-month-old fetus.

Nashville authorities say Taylor, a 28-year-old former school soccer participant at Arkansas State and an analyst at Texas A&M, fatally poisoned his girlfriend Jade Benning, and her five-month-old fetus, “which Taylor is alleged to have fathered.”

Taylor was arrested in Utah on Thursday after being indicted by a Nashville grand jury, which charged him with two counts of first-degree homicide.

Taylor is being held with out bail on the Cache County Jail in Logan, Utah, TooFab reported.

Authorities say Taylor “poisoned Benning without her knowledge” when he was at her condo on February 25, 2023.

The sufferer was “rushed to the hospital” quickly after  Taylor known as 911, and stated she “appeared to be having an allergic reaction.”

Authorities stated the fetus died two days later, and Benning handed away on March 6, including that she “was not able to be interviewed” by police earlier than she died.”

Taylor moved to Utah following the deaths and only recently received a brand new job as an analyst at Texas A&M. The college introduced Friday that he’s been “placed on suspension pending an investigation,” per the outlet.
