Now batting for the Atlanta Braves … Travis Kelce?!?
A previous MLB scout informs TMZ Sports that extremely well might have been a possibility this year and beyond — if just Kelce had actually chosen to play baseball rather of football after high school.
Reggie Sanders — who hunted for the Braves in the Ohio location as Kelce was starring at Cleveland Heights H.S. in the early 2000s — informs us that in his numerous journeys to see the teen who matured to be a Kansas City Chiefs star … he was blown away by what he saw.
Sanders kept in mind the future tight end as an excellent player with blazing speed … and kept in mind the young Kelce, who finished H.S. in 2008, was towering, too.
“He seemed like a big leaguer on a field of high school players,” stated Sanders, who worked for the Braves from 2002 to 2007. “He looks almost the same size today as he was in high school.”
Sanders stated after enjoying Kelce play, he was “certain” the person would have wound up in the major leagues if he had actually persevered … informing us, “I keep in mind composing his report and I comped him to Josh Hamilton.”
Of course, Kelce never ever stuck with baseball — he chose to follow in his huge sibling’s steps and play football at Cincinnati. The rest, as you understand, is history … and he’ll be betting his 2nd Super Bowl champion next week.

Kelce, however, still has baseball on his mind from time to time … taking part in celeb crowning achievement derbies frequently — and even when joking about leaving football for the diamond also.
