Don Lemon Apologizes For Derogatory Remarks About Women In Their 30s

CNN anchor Don Lemon excused remarks he made about women over a specific age not being “in their prime.”

“I’m sorry that I stated it,” Lemon stated per CNN. “And I definitely see why individuals discovered it totally misdirected. When I slip up, I own it. And I own this one also.”

Lemon made the talk about “CNN This Morning” throughout a conversation about South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who is presently running as a Republican prospect for president versus Donald Trump.

Lemon stated that a lady is just “thought about to be in their prime in 20s and 30s and possibly 40s.”

Nikki Haley is 51. Don Lemon is 56.

Lemon stated on air: “If you Google, ‘when is a lady in her prime,’ it’ll state 20s, 30s, and 40s. … I’m not stating I concur with that so I believe she needs to take care about stating that (political leaders aren’t in their prime).”
