Derek Carr out … Aaron Rodgers in?
If No. 4 is definitively on his method to being traded from Vegas this offseason … Raiders star Darren Waller is making it clear, he desires Rodgers to change him.
In reality, the tight end is downright hiring the Packers star to Nevada while under the presumption that Carr’s a goner … stating at Jay Glazer‘s Super Bowl celebration in Arizona today, “If you come, it’s gonna be lit!”
Waller included his pitch that Las Vegas is a much better location to be than Green Bay “in most cases.”
“If he comes,” Waller stated of Rodgers, “I’d be a happy camper.”
Of course, there’s a great deal of pieces that would need to form to make Waller’s desire come real. First, Carr would need to be traded. Then, Vegas would need to make a swap with the Packers for Rodgers.
But, Carr currently seems on the edge of being moved — he simply met the Saints today. And, all indications appear to be pointing towards Rodgers being rejected from Green Bay too (that is, if his isolation retreat leads him to another year of football).
As for where Carr might wind up — Waller informed us he believes the signal-caller may go to among 3 areas … 2 of which remain in the AFC.
