Damar Hamlin Praises Trainer Who Gave Him CPR, ‘I Owe Denny My Life’

Damar Hamlin is loading appreciation on Denny Kellington for carrying out CPR on him the night he entered into cardiac arrest, calling the Bills assistant athletic trainer the “savior of my life.”

“I owe Denny my life,” Hamlin informed Michael Strahan on “Good Morning America” on Friday … “He loves to say he was just doing his job.”

Hamlin stated if Kellington didn’t appear to work that night with a clear mind … he may not be here, a truth he does not consider approved when reviewing the minute

The 24-year-old security acknowledged Denny was functioning as any expert must because circumstances, however appreciates the guy for increasing to the event even when things looked alarming.

Hamlin was on tap at the NFL Honors event Thursday … where he provided a motivating speech along with the doctor who assisted keep him alive.

“First, I would like to just thank God for even being here,” Hamlin said. “Every day. I’m amazed that my experiences could encourage so many others across the country and even across the world, encourage the parade, encourage it, spread love, and keep fighting, no matter the circumstances.”

During his speech, Hamlin stated he satisfied a medical professional in the health center who went through a comparable experience as him, and advised him that he was living evidence Damar would be great.

“I want to give a big thank you to him and a special thank you to everyone on the stage for everything they did for me,” Hamlin stated. “And thank you, everybody, around the nation and around the globe who wished me and wished for me. The journey will continue.”

Earlier today, the NFLPA awarded Hamlin the Alan Page Award for his charitable operate in the neighborhood.
