Sad news for Cleveland fans — popular Guardians bleacher drummer John Adams died on Monday, the group revealed. He was 71 years of ages.
Adams was a staple at Cleveland baseball video games for almost 5 years … attending his very first video game with drum in restore in 1973.

“For nearly five decades the beat of John’s drum was the heartbeat of baseball here in Cleveland,” Guardians Senior VP of Public Affairs Bob DiBiasio stated on Monday. “We are all saddened by John’s passing.”
“His dedication, commitment and passion for our franchise, at both Cleveland Stadium and Progressive Field, was unmatched. John will forever remain a member of our team.”
The group states Adams participated in more than 3,500 video games throughout his fandom … consisting of 3 All-Star Games, 11 playoff series and 3 World Series.
