Cardi B Admits LAPD Story Was False

After the Los Angeles Police Division shot down her story that she was virtually arrested for drug trafficking.

Cardi ranted on social media, saying she was going to sue the LAPD.

“They had all the helicopters in L.A. Yo, I was freaking out. They had me outside for like three hours. They had me getting butt-naked outside. Yo, like, sh-t was crazy. It was deada-s a movie and whatever but you already know. I’m bout to sue the LAPD. I told them like, ‘yo, I’m Cardi B. Like do I look like I gotta sell some sh-t? Like why would I do that? I would never pull no sh-t like that,’” she instructed her followers.

Chatting with TMZ, a supply instructed them that there was no document of something like that happening.

Billboard reached out to Cardi, who offered them with the next assertion.

“This IG live was taken out of context and there is no truth to this story. Apologies for any confusion.”
