Alabama WR Jermaine Burton presumably struck a female Tennessee football fan in the head following the Crimson Tide’s upset loss on Saturday … and the occurrence was recorded on video.
The clip, published by Emily Isaacs on TikTok, appears to reveal Burton striking the fan as she strolled by him after the video game. Isaacs states she’s the lady in the video.
“Jermaine Burton smacking me in the head while walking past him after their loss Saturday. 👍,” the TikToker composed in the caption.
Another fan declares they had a comparable occurrence with Burton after the video game. A fan published video online, and it appears JB took a swipe at him, too.
Burton — who moved from Georgia in January 2022 — had 2 catches for 49 lawns in the loss.
Of course, to explain the after-effects of the video game as chaotic would be an understatement. It was the very first time Tennessee beat Bama in 16 seasons. Tenn fans even ripped the goalpost below Neyland Stadium and tossed it in a close-by river.
So, yeah … madness. The University of Tennessee was even fined $100K for enabling their fans on the football field.
