Akon Defends Kanye West After Hitler Comments

Akon is still backing Kanye West, even after the man announced his love for Hitler and Nazis — presuming regarding state, he isn’t angered … ’cause the remarks aren’t targeted at him.

The vocalist sat for an interview with Sky News today … throughout which he stated he supports Ye’s right to speak his mind and state whatever he wishes to state, no matter just how much it may piss off society — which is obviously how he’s framed this legend in his mind.

While Akon states he would ensure to provide KW his own POV versus Ye’s argument about liking Hitler — in a dispute, it appears — he still does not like the concept of shutting the guy down and smothering out his speech even if what he’s stating is objectionable to some.

That tail end is exceptionally informing, and something the journo captured onto — asking Akon if it problems him that Kanye makes objectively ghastly remarks, duration … with Akon reacting, “Not really, because those comments don’t really affect me personally.”
