Scar Lip Responds To Twerking Backlash…”It’s Something In Me That Just Wants To Come Out!”

Scar Lip hopped on social media this week after going through backlash for her new video for “She’s Hot,” the place she is seen carrying booty shorts and twerking.

The “This Is New York” artist is seen shaking her clappas within the viral clip however followers didn’t appear to embrace the change from her normally thugged out type and accused her label of forcing her to tackle a sexier picture to promote music.

Scar Lip, who’s signed to Epic Data and mentored by Swizz Beatz, says the followers are incorrect.

“I know a few days ago you saw me shaking my booty on the internet. I wanna say, I apologize to all y’all and anybody I offended. Now, I know everybody’s like, ‘No, we don’t want you doing that…’ I understand that, right?” she defined within the video.

“Let me just say one thing, no one is forcing me to do this. I come up with these things in my head, these crazy ideas,” she went on. “I want you guys to grow with me. Don’t put me in a box. I’m always gon’ give y’all that street sh-t, I mean, I’m the best to do it, right? And we all know that…but I want to, like, tap into what’s in me! It’s something in me that just wants to come out!”
