Al Sharpton Slams NY Court for Having Shortage of Black Jurors in ASAP Rocky’s Trial

Rev. Al Sharpton expressed his concern for A$AP Rocky after it was revealed that there are hardly any Black jurors in his trial.

“It has been brought to my attention, by the National Action Network Los Angeles office, that out of one hundred and six (106) people called to potentially sit as jurors in A$AP Rocky’s trial in Los Angeles, there are only 4 black people,” he wrote on X.

“I have been closely in touch with A$AP Rocky’s friends, and though I do not know the particulars of the trial, I do know he deserves to be judged fairly by his peers, as is his Constitutional right,” he continued.

Sharpton known as the state of affairs “absolutely ridiculous” and stated that the jury make-up signifies that the rapper won’t obtain a good trial.

Rocky is dealing with as much as 24 years in jail after his former buddy, ASAP Relli accused the Harlem rapper of taking pictures him in his hand. Relli allegedly tried to extort Rocky however he didn’t pay up and now a jury will resolve his destiny.
