Savannah Guthrie Jokes She Threw Out Hoda Kotb’s ‘S***’ From ‘Today’ Show

Savannah Guthrie is letting everybody know it is a new period on the “Today” present — with a splash of humor — after Hoda Kotb‘s departure and Craig Melvin taking her seat on the sofa.

Guthrie and Melvin sat down with host Jimmy Fallon on his late-night present Thursday — and talked about Kotb’s high-profile exit from the morning present after almost 18 years.

Gutherie instructed a humorous little story about how she tossed out all of Hoda’s “s***” after Kotb formally left the present final Friday.

Savannah mentioned she removed a bunch of Hoda’s trays stuffed with some bizarre stuff, claiming there have been thinks like expired bean dip and stomach button lint — and it was all fairly “disgusting.”

As you might know, Savannah has been co-anchoring “Today” with Hoda since 2018 after Kotb took over for Matt Lauer when he acquired fired for sexual harassment allegations.

Over time, Hoda and Savannah turned shut, sharing a deep bond whereas working alongside one another on NBC’s iconic morning program.
