Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg are longtime collaborators. Ever because the Compton producer (actual title Andre Younger) was given Snoop’s demo by his brother Warren G, the 2 have been a dynamic duo and, because the Nineties, have made historic music.

Younger values high quality over amount relating to music. He has only released three solo studio albums himself and opened up about his ideas on the truth that Snoop Dogg has 19 studio albums to his title.

Talking in regards to the Doggfather, Dre defined, “I personally think he does too much shit, and we’ve been battling and bumping heads about [it].” Dre believes his longtime collaborator releases an excessive amount of music and sees him placing amount over high quality.

When requested by Corden if he tells Snoop Dogg this to his face, Dre exclaimed, “Hell yeah, I tell him that. I’m always in my big brother mode. I always tell him like, ‘Why the fuck are you doing this and that? Come on.’ He’s like, ‘Let me live Dr. Dre, cuz. Let me do my thing, man. Do I bother you about the shit you doing, cuz?’”

He continued, “So we have our — I call it sibling rivalries and shit like that — but I would love it if he’d just focus on this thing and make sure this thing right here that we’re working on is the best that it can be.”

Throughout his look on The Life Is Mine, Dre looked back on his 2021 brain aneurysm and admitted that it made him worth life extra, disclosing, “It definitely makes you appreciate being alive, that’s for sure. It’s something you can’t control, it just happens. During those two weeks, I had three strokes.”
