Rap Radar had the dope privilege of masking the second version of the Island Music Conference in Kingston, Jamaica, based by Shaggy, Sharon Burke, and Judith Bodley.
The five-day convention, held throughout Jamaica’s Reggae Month, featured participating panels, dynamic performances, full of life events, insightful workshops, and ample networking alternatives with business insiders.
Notable highlights included Teejay’s album launch social gathering, the place he carried out his hit music Drift with a stay band [getting a huge reaction], and Mya sharing insights into her profession longevity and collaborations with Jamaican artists on a panel with Tuma Basa, Kes and Teejay.
The convention culminated in a spectacular Musical Stay MashUp that includes Shaggy, Wyclef, Stonebwoy, Yohan Marley, Jesse Royal, and plenty of others. The Chairman’s Welcome Dinner drew a various crowd of artists, influencers, and business officers. For these in search of a competition to delve into Jamaican and West Indian music, together with gaining business insights, the Island Music Conference proved to be the last word vacation spot.
