The Weeknd revisits his “Popular” collaboration with Playboi Carti and Madonna with its long-awaited video.

“Begging on your knees to be popular / Don’t take drugs to be popular,” sings the Toronto hitmaker from the grounds of his luxurious pad. “You’re the only one taking over, yeah / See her soul to be popular.”

Madonna brings intercourse enchantment to the clip (“I know that you see me, time’s gone by / Spend my whole life running from your flashing lights”) whereas Playboi Carti kicks it behind the whip along with his shorty. (“Money on top of me, money on top of her / Yuh, shawty fuck with me ’cause she know I’m popular”)

Co-produced by Metro Boomin, Mike Dean, and The Weeknd, “Popular” is taken from final yr’s The Idol, Vol. 1, the soundtrack to The Weeknd’s HBO sequence.
