‘RHOBH’s Tom Girardi Found Competent To Stand Trial

Tom Girardi, the estranged husband of Actual Housewives of Beverly Hills star Tom Girardi, has been deemed competent to face trial for defrauding his purchasers of tens of millions of {dollars}.

The Los Angeles Instances reviews that “the order was placed under seal until lawyers for both sides have a chance to identify information in it that they want to be kept confidential, such as health records or other sensitive material.”

In August, Girardi, prosecutors accused Girardi, who suffers from dementia, of exaggerating his sickness.

“Less than one month after the bankruptcy proceedings were initiated, and criminal and State Bar referrals were made by federal and state judges, defendant’s brother filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to have a conservator appointed, alleging that defendant could no longer care for himself or his estate. Without the benefit of any adversarial testing, the petition was subsequently granted mere months later,” prosecutors defined in paperwork obtained by Radar On-line.

He has been charged with eight counts of wire fraud and 4 counts of legal contempt.
