Dana Carvey Shows Gratitude to Supporters After Son’s ‘Accidental OD’

Dana Carvey is displaying his gratitude to everybody who’s been reaching out to assist his household after his son Dex‘s deadly OD.

The actor and comic thanked his well-wishers Saturday on Instagram, saying he and his spouse, Paula, have been overwhelmed by their love, compassion and private tales they shared.

Dana wrote, “We received so many beautiful messages from people who knew Dex. These touched us more than we could ever express in words.”

He went on to say he could be taking a break from work and social media through the grieving course of as he, Paula and their different son, Thomas, work out “what life looks like now that we are a family of 3.”

Dana vowed to “heal the best we can and carry on” as a result of their “darling Dex would have wanted it that way.”

TMZ broke the story … Dex handed away Wednesday after his girlfriend known as 911, and first responders discovered him unresponsive within the rest room of an L.A. dwelling. Paramedics tried unsuccessfully to deliver him again to life.

On Thursday, Dana stated Dex died of an unintended drug overdose. He additionally wrote an emotional tribute to his son, praising his musical skills and calling him a “beautiful person.”
