Record Exec L.A. Reid Accused Of Sexual Assault !!

Antonio L.A. Reid, cofounder of LaFace Records, has been accused of sexual assault and harassment by former Arista government Drew Dixon.

Drew filed the lawsuit yesterday in Manhattan’s Federal District Courtroom.

The court docket docs allege that Reid assaulted her twice throughout her time at Arista within the early 2000s and that when she turned down his advances, he would make choices that might negatively impression her profession, together with blocking her from signing John Legend early on in his profession.

“I have an opportunity now to seek some degree of accountability. And that’s really what I’m trying to do,” she stated in an interview.

She beforehand accused the exec of misconduct again in 2017. On the time, Reid denied the allegations.

 “I’m proud of my track record promoting, supporting and uplifting women at every company I’ve ever run. That notwithstanding, if I have ever said anything capable of being misinterpreted, I apologize unreservedly,” he stated.
