Five Black Women File Federal Lawsuit Accusing Kansas City Police Of Rape, Intimidation

A bunch of ladies have filed a federal lawsuit in opposition to Kansas City, Kansas, that alleges they have been raped and humiliated by cops, together with a retired detective.

The 5 ladies declare former detective Roger Golubski and different “dirty cops” used the “power of their badges to exploit Black women.” They are saying the Unified Authorities of Wyandotte County and Kansas City enabled its officers to have interaction in exploitative conduct, reminiscent of stalking, assaulting, and raping Kansas City residents. The lawsuit additionally alleges that most of the assaults occurred whereas the officers have been sporting their badges and in possession of their weapons.

The lawsuit claims the 5 ladies have been intimidated by the officers and couldn’t report the crimes. In response to Law and Crime, when one lady threatened to file a grievance, Golbuski stated, “Report me to who, the police? I am the police.” The lawsuit described it as a government-sanctioned “protection racket.”

In response to KCTV, the lawsuit individually names former police chiefs Thomas Dailey, James Swafford, and Ronald Miller.

Roger Golubski (through Shawnee County Detention Middle)

Roger Golubski, Terry Zeigler, Michael Kill, Clayton Bye, and Dennis Ware are the officers named within the lawsuit, with Golubski going through expenses associated to rape, kidnapping, and intercourse trafficking. 

He has denied the allegations in opposition to him.
