Britney Spears Says She Traded ‘Freedom’ To See Her Sons

Britney Spears is speaking about her conservatorship in her upcoming memoir and says she agreed to the conservatorship in order that she may persevering with seeing her sons.

Britney says she was compelled to endure involuntary psychological assessments and tried to struggle her dad, who was forcing her to be put below the conservatorship.

“After being held down on a gurney, I knew they could restrain my body any time they wanted to. And so I went along with it,” she writes. “My freedom in exchange for naps with my children — it was a trade I was willing to make,” she added.

Spears was positioned below a court-ordered conservatorship in 2008 by her father. Jamie then acted as her sole conservator for many of the 13 years. The conservatorship was terminated in November 2021. Britney mentioned her father and different family members ought to be in jail.

No member of her household have been arrested or jailed.
