The Chicago Bulls’ Patrick Beverly stated final week that rap music is having a negative impact on Ja Morant.

His feedback got here after Morant was suspended by the NBA for eight video games for brandishing a gun in a Colorado strip membership.

“The music we listen to and how that is the new brand,” stated Beverly on The Pat Bev Podcast With Rone. “The music say I keep pipe, I do this and I do that. That turns into, I need a pipe. A pipe meaning gun.”

Ja Rule was requested about Beverly’s reasoning and he agreed.

“Hip Hop could be very influential,” the rapper explained. “I’ve performed issues in my youth due to Hip Hop. Redman made ‘How To Roll A Blunt’ we began smoking blunts. Snoop [Dogg] made ‘Gin and Juice’ we begin ingesting gin and juice. Hip Hop could be very influential. I’m not gonna say it’s not … The factor with Ja, I simply hope he has some higher individuals round him and let him know that ain’t the best way.”

Is Morant letting rap lyrics affect his selections in your opinion?
