Comedian Ricky Smiley REVEALS That His Son Died Of A Suspected DRUG OVERDOSE!!

Last month, Media Take Out broke the news that Ricky Smiley’s oldest son Brandon’s dropped dead. At the time there was widespread speculation that Brandon might have died from an unexpected drug overdose.

Well now Ricky is speaking up about it. The comedian confessed that his son battled with a spretty major drug issue, which he likely died from a fentanyl overdose.

On Wednesday, the comedian took a seat with Craig Melvin on the 3rd hour of Today, and shared that his son’s death is a suspected overdose following years of compound abuse concerns.

“Yeah, he was having problem with that,” the Rickey Smiley Morning Show host stated when inquired about Brandon’s substance abuse. “His mom and I made a number of efforts to attempt and send him to get the aid he required, send him to rehab. And we believed that he was doing much better.”

Although Smiley kept in mind that “he utilized and it eliminated him,” he stated that it was simply speculation, as the household is waiting on the outcomes of the toxicology report.

“But we sanctuary’t got a toxicology report yet,” Smiley stated. “But this is simply what we are hypothesizing, according to his sweetheart who discovered him unresponsive.”

Smiley stated that he and Brandon’s mom frequently had discussions with their son, and motivated other moms and dads to do the exact same, even if it appears the kids won’t listen.
