Chicago White Sox prospect Anderson Comás revealed this weekend he is homosexual … saying he is hoping popping out now will assist encourage others to “fight for your dreams.”
The 23-year-old grew to become simply the second energetic MLB minor leaguer to disclose he is homosexual … and in an emotional Instagram post on Sunday, he wrote, “I’m doing this cause I wanna be an inspiration for those like me out there fighting for their dreams.”

Comás signed with the Sox in 2016 out of the Dominican Republic … and started his profession as an outfielder. In 2022, although, he switched to pitching — and logged 11.1 innings on the mound for the White Sox’s rookie league workforce final season.
After his announcement Sunday, the White Sox applauded him — saying on Twitter they have been “proud” of the prospect.

Team assistant basic supervisor Chris Getz later mentioned in a press release Comas got here out to the workforce final yr.
“I was very pleased that he was comfortable sharing with us in player development,” Getz mentioned.
