Vernon Davis Says Brother Vontae ‘Doing Well’ After DUI Arrest, ‘Very Tough Situation’

Despite the terrible images that came out of Vontae Davis‘ arrest previously this month … his older brother, Vernon Davis, informs TMZ Sports the ex-NFL star is now “doing well” and taking actions to fix a “very tough situation.”

Vontae was put into custody in Broward County, Fla. on Feb. 4 after polices state he drunkenly crashed his Tesla into the back of a handicapped Toyota truck. In pictures and video we got from the scene, you can see Vernon’s more youthful brother appeared to be asleep on the highway following the mishap — and after that appeared to have a hard time to remain awake throughout taking place questioning.

At one point, a police officer grew disappointed with the ex-Indianapolis Colts cornerback … and informed him, “You almost killed somebody.”

Vernon informed us out at a Super Bowl occasion in Arizona on Thursday night that he’s spoken with Vontae considering that whatever decreased … exposing, “he said he was doing well.”

“He’s just taking care of everything behind the scenes,” the previous 49ers star tight end included.

As for what he informed his brother … Vernon stated, “I just told him I’m going to keep him in my prayers and continue to wish him the best and hope that he continues to do the right thing.”
