Janelle Monae Turns Heads at Critics Choice Awards with See-Through Dress

Janelle Monae won the SeeHer Award at the Critics Choice reveal this weekend — and it appears she used something that was quite on style … ’cause everybody got an eyeful.

The actress/singer struck the red carpet Sunday at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in L.A., where she was among the clear standouts of the night in regards to style … using a stylish black dress that seems from Vera Wang’s Spring 2023 collection.

Of course, while she looked fantastic … what truly turned heads was the truth that her dress was see-through, particularly upstairs — where she didn’t appear to be using a bra.

There were other rather exposing cutouts in the dress — around the hips location — that made it an overall stunner … and Janelle pulled it off with design. She’s naturally a knockout, however a great deal of individuals were kinda surprised she headed out there like this … displaying the body!

Eventually, she accepted her award for the night — which was implied to honor artists who provide representation and credibility in their functions and efficiencies and work … and Janelle does both in movie and in her music. She acknowledged as much in her speech.

JM recognized her pronouns (she/her, they/them) … and made a point to yell out any LGBT kids at house who may live with households who do not accept them. She stated, “I see you.”
