The brand-new hit single “Come & Go” from skilled Norwegian artist CTB falls under the emerging sub-genre of Melodic Drill – a branch of the ‘Rap Tree’ getting a growing number of traction especially in the UK. “Come & Go” shows off an innovative mix of musical flavours drawn from a varied period of sonic soundscapes: a legato, emotively effective violin line coupled with small, mild piano chords and layered with driving 808s, kick drum and trap hi hat trills.

The single radiates an unquestionably favorable & uplifting energy which appropriately crescondos slowly as the tune advances to end with a rousing surface. ‘Come & Go’ originated from a mentally individual & natural location as summed up by CTB himself – ‘having a heartbreak, going through difficult times in life and understanding how phony some pals might truly be, I considered turning this into an art; a method of putting out my sensations and a treatment for me.’ This is what makes the release so exceptional and the pure, susceptible location it was produced in includes an additional string to its bow – the noise of the future of Drill music.
