Sammy Hagar Says Selling Tequila Brand Was Craziest Thing That’s Happened

Sammy Hagar takes pride in being the very first celebrity to have a popular tequila brand … which is why he discusses on “TMZ Presents: Sammy Hagar’s Paradise” that selling it was the craziest thing to ever take place to him!

The previous Van Halen vocalist says when he developed his Cabo Wabo Tequila line, no other stars had actually ever done anything like it … including that his company began flourishing like no other.

Remember, we talked with him back in July and he informed us he was making a great fortune from his alcohol, books and bars … method more than any cash he acquired from his music.

Well, now he’s informing the story behind his effective tequila. At initially, Sammy says he would not attempt offer it since he was generating a lot money. But, that all altered when he protected a wild deal — one that actually had him rolling on the flooring laughing.

The Red Rocker says the business Grupo Campari accepted pay him $100 million … and after that, he sealed the offer!
