Police Respond to Sen. Ted Cruz’s Home for Emergency Involving Daughter

Sen. Ted Cruz states his teenage child is “okay” after polices were contacted us to his Texas house Tuesday night for a medical emergency situation.

Houston PD reacted to Cruz’s home in Houston’s River Oaks area around 8 PM after getting a report of a 14-year-old with self-inflicted stab injuries to their arm. The Senator, his spouse Heidi and their 2 children, ages 11 and 14, reside in your home.

A single person was hurried to a medical facility for treatment. Although authorities are not divulging the client’s name, Cruz’s representative provided a declaration to ABC News, stating … “This is a family matter and thankfully their daughter is okay.”

It’s uncertain if Sen. Cruz was house at the time, or who called 911.

His representative includes, “There were no serious injuries. The family requests the media respect their daughter’s privacy at this time.”
